Rural BPO CSC:- Rupa Devi’s husband passed away when she was merely 24 years old, leaving behind two young children to fend for. Rupa had to undergo extreme hardship in the absence of a source of income and social support.
She tried hard to get a job to earn livelihood and feed her children, but all efforts went in vain because of lack of employment opportunities in her village. Despite all the odds, she didn’t lose hope and completed her education till 12th standard. Then she learned computer skills under Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan (PMGDISHA) at the CSC in Alampur Pipariya village in Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh.
Thereafter, as she started searching for employment opportunities, she got an offer to work for CSC Rural BPO started by VLE Gurdeep Singh, which she immediately accepted. As such she got an opportunity to her earn livelihood, raise children and explore her potential.
With this initiative, these women have got a source of income to support their family without going far away from home, empowering women to be self-dependent and live with dignity in society.
VLE Gurdeep Singh, apart from Rural PBO, has also been operating a CSC since 2012, providing G2C and B2C services to rural people under one roof.

The employees working at these BPOs are being trained by CSC team on operations of calls coming of customers and computer data entry. At BPOs tele-callers make calls to customers to get their feedback on various services of CSC.
